Bringing runners from all over the country, the Miracle Match Marathon is sponsored by the Waco Firefighters Association and benefits the Scott & White Marrow Donor Program. Also included in the event are half marathon and 4 person relays. This is a full weekend event, hosting a 5K and one mile fun run the day before, as well as an expo and pasta party in downtown Waco. We also have a separate barefoot division and a kids marathon, for which kids log 25 miles of running throughout several months, then run the final mile of their 'marathon' across the suspension bridge to claim their medals.

26.2 miles of Central Texas hills make for a challenging course. Marathonguide.com considers ours to be one of the most scenic and challenging courses in the country.
