I love the Fall- October is my favorite month, Halloween is my favorite holiday and I love leaves. A lot of my decor surrounds that. My favorite candles are pumpkin, vanilla, cinnamon, etc and I love Halloween candy and food with apples. I go all out for Halloween when I have the money to.

I am a student and work part-time. I am also a full-time parent. Life is busy and always on the go. I enjoy meeting new people.

I am about as nerdy as you can get. I like Video games, Dungeons and Dragons, Anime, Magic the Gathering and though I like super heroes i find the movies about them lackluster. I guess the common theme is that i like to solve problems in unique ways. although recently i've been making it a point to try new things. The bar scene is pretty interesting, if just from an anthropological standpoint, and i've found that my drink of choice is gin.

My friends reflect my ever expanding myriad of lifestyles. I have my nerdy friends, my frat-boy friends, my snooty intellectual friends (which overlap with the nerdy friends considerably), and then various malcontontents that keep me entertained with their exciting stories of drug related antics and police brutality.

Anybody that i can enjoy all of my activities with, are quickly promoted to best friend. I'm finding it increasingly hard to talk about myself without spilling over into the purview of one of the other categories.

I should probably also make it known that i'm a Libertarian. I don't really think it's that important but a lot of people seem to take issue with it.

I'm a single mom looking for some good friends to share outings with, and looking forward with mixed emotions to an empty nest to pursue fun interests/hobbies. I am equally content going to an art museum or canoing/kayaking or listening to live concerts. Pottery/clay sculpture is probably the greatest art interest right now--to explore the many facets about it. To recharge my batteries the fav pasttime is hiking. If there's some travel involved, so much the better.

Life is good. I have an innate ability to enjoy the dentist office just as much as concerts. I tell stories cyclically rather than linearly. I love recess, and I spend most of the summer in some sort of water. I think the greatest part of being an adult is the ability to choose when and where to be childish. I see the world through the prism of business. Let's say I go to a restaurant where 2 people open the doors, 2 more say hi and a 5th acts as host(ess). Some smile at that "friendliness." I see it as teenagers talking rather than waiting tables (slower turnaround etc) so no wonder the company is losing money! I can keep quiet but can't turn it off.

I'm imaginative but that isn't a cherished trait in my profession. In fact, people go to jail for "creative" accounting. As a result, I prefer more outlandish entertainment like anime, video games, sci-fi etc. Comedy also rocks.

Speaking of comedy, many of you will be horrified to hear that the Simpsons influenced my religious beliefs. Feel free to ask, but please do not douse me in holy water. No, I don't eat babies, there are too many little bones.

I can't cook, I can be messy at times, and I really like to sleep. A lot. I love to read, write, and attempt taking photography. I've recently decided I don't know what my career should be, and I'm okay with that. I'm taking one day at a time and letting the Lord lead me where He wants me. I love to travel. I promise I'm not a complainer that was just a pet peeve of mine and I thought it was time to try and put an end to it the insanity. Hah. I'm generally very laid back and easy going; a "go with the flow" type of person if you will. I've always been told I'm very mature for my age. I suppose this is because I sort of skipped over the phases that most people do. At 22, most girls my age tend to want to party it up. Me on the other hand, I'd much rather go bowling, to an arcade, mini golf, the movies, or just stay home playing video games, watching a movie or playing a board game than I would going out and getting drunk. Don't get me wrong I LIKE drinking occasionally, but I don't feel the need to get drunk on a daily or even weekly basis. I don't like the club/bar scene, so its rare to find me in one. However, I will occasionally grab a drink at a bar with friends/family.

While I'm mature and responsible when needed, I do have a sort of "childish" streak in me! Not in the immature sense, but in the sense that I like to try and live life without worrying too much (I worry the right amount, I think. Maybe sometimes a little too much, but hey, i'm working on it ; ) and have FUN and I don't care if I look stupid doing it. I'm the type of girl who'll play in the rain, still watches cartoons (I'm a Disney movie addict) and loves to play board games. (scrabble, pictionary, balderdash; just a few of my faves)

I'm not into drugs. I smoked pot once a few years ago but I didnt like it. Honestly, I wont date someone who smokes weed. If you are one of those who does, great, its a free country, but we probably wouldn't work out. I'm not 420 friendly because I don't think smoking weed should be a priority..sorry!

I love tattoos! I just don't have any. I dont really want A LOT but I do want one specifically and some day when I have the money, I'll get it. I used to have my tongue pierced, but took it out last summer.

I love to read and I guess you can say I can get a little obsessive about it; I'm the nerd who'll finish off a book in a day or two, regardless of size. I've ALWAYS had an obsession with books and half priced books is like my second home. I could spend hours in that store and its usually hard to leave without at least two books.

As for my other hobbies I love the out doors. Camping, fishing, etc. I also love to watch movies, go bowling, to the arcades (wooohoo Dave and Busters!) I'm pretty much up for anything fun! I also really like to draw!

When it comes to relationships I am a very affectionte person. I would not classify myself as "needy" or "clingy" but I need someone who isn't affaid to be affectionate toward me either. I'm not talking about PDA here, I just mean in general. Hugs, kisses, cuddling etc. I love it all. I'm a BIG fan of cuddling. I think relationships are a lot of give and take; a lot of work and I'm more then willing to do the work. I put ALOT into my relationships so I am looking for someone who wont take that for granted. I suppose you could say I'm looking for my best friend - because thats what I believe your significant other should be. I would like to find the same in a guy, but it isn't a deal breaker if you do drink, as long as you are responsible and mature about it.

How does one describe themselves in such a little space? I guess they just start with the basics. I'm Matt, a 20 year old, single guy that lives in McKinney. I like hanging out with friends, watching movies, and listening to all types of music. I absolutely love being outdoors but do not mind being inside once in a while just relaxing on the couch talking or watchinig a movie with a big bucket of popcorn. I am a truely independent person who has his own beliefs and ideas on just about any subject and like to have conversations and get to know all kinds of interesting people. I'm not really sure if I want to enter into a relationship as of now but if you never can tell what might happen in this crazy old mixed up world of ours. There was a time I was in love with the idea of being in love... but now, I just kinda let whatever happens happen. It sure would be nice to find that one girl, though... Who wouldn't want that? To find the right girl... unless you're not into that kinda thing. If not, then... that's okay.

I am very active in politics and in all government related activities. I am very patriotic and I consider myself a conservative. I am interested in theological and metaphysical arguments and theories, I find it fascinating to learn about how and why things are. I am very argumentative, and I love being right. I love to cook pretty much anything, and I am definitely a foodpusher. :) I enjoy watching movies, mostly action, and reading books, mostly fantasy. I have a large fascination with anything russian, and I am currently trying to teach my self the language.
